This Australian web-site portrays information about the life and works of Maria Valtorta, an Italian mystic writer who died in 1961.  From 1943 to 1950 she recorded, in hand-written notebooks, an extraordinary number of visions and dictations concerning the lives and teachings of Jesus and Mary, and their interactions with many protagonists and antagonists in their journeys on this earth.

The best-known outcome of these works of Maria Valtorta is the epic five-volume The Poem of the Man-God, which begins before the birth of Mary, describes almost all the passages reported in the four Gospels, and ends after Mary’s Assumption into Heaven.

Maria’s writings have profoundly affected their many readers throughout the world, and there are numerous testimonies which support her works as authentic Private Revelation.  Three measures of this authenticity, as discussed by Father Roschini in pages 10-17 of The Virgin Mary in the Writings of Maria Valtorta  are:

I) The person…; ii) The content…; (and) iii) The effects…”

If you are new to the writings of Maria Valtorta, you are invited to consider what you read in the light of these three measures. If you are already a reader of Maria’s writings, may you be encouraged to love Jesus and Mary even more, and to grow in holiness as they would wish you to.  May the Holy Spirit guide you during your visit to this web-site, and in your search for Love and Truth.
