Father Vernard Poslusney is considered
by many people throughout Austria, Canada, Rome and the United States to be one
of the finest Roman Catholic orators of our time. He served as a Carmelite
retreat director, conducting well over three hundred Conferences, Days of
Prayer, Homilies, Lectures, Retreats, Seminars, Sermons, Teachings and
Workshops. Some of these were with Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen in the
1970's. His stratospheric religious discernment and wisdom has enlightened
many on the spirituality of Saint John of the Cross, Saint Teresa of Avila and
Saint Therese of Lisieux, as well as public and private revelation. He was an
advisor to the Holy Office in the area of Private Revelation, as well as the
author of four time-honored books: "Attaining
Spiritual Maturity for Contemplation", "The Imitation of Christ, According to
St. John of the Cross", "Prayer, Aspiration and Contemplation"
and "Union with the Lord in Prayer". Father Vernard was a very strong
advocate of the writings of Maria Valtorta, particularly the "Poem of the
Man-God". He was born in 1918, ordained in 1942, and
entered Eternal Life on December 15, 2005 at the age of 87.

Archbishop Allen
Vigneron of the Archdiocese of Detroit formally
requested Detroit resident Michael Voris (employed by
Real Catholic TV based in South Bend, Indiana, the
Diocese of Bishop Kevin Rhoades) to desist from
using the word "Catholic" in his employer’s organization
name. Detroit Archdiocesan Director of Communications
and Canon Lawyer Ned McGrath stated that there were no
complaints regarding RealCatholicTV, and that in his
20 years with the Archdiocese of Detroit there was
never a request made of any group or organization
to refrain from using the word "Catholic".
Aside from Archbishop
Vigneron attempting to exercise authority outside his
jurisdiction, this is particularly outrageous as the "American
Catholic Council" is located in Detroit and was formed
by pro-abortion / pro-contraceptive / pro-homosexual marriage
/ pro-woman priest Catholics attempting to change Roman
Catholic Church core teaching, tradition and values. This
group was not asked to desist in using the word
"Catholic".
Moreover, the
Archdiocese of Detroit harbors and meets with the pro-abortion
/ pro-contraceptive / pro-homosexual marriage / pro-woman
priest group "Elephant In The Living Room". The Jesuit
Catholic University of Detroit Mercy (UDM) regularly violates
Catholic teaching but have been permitted to retain their
"Catholic" designation without interference from the diocese.
UDM has proposed abortion agencies as career opportunities for
students; had links to pro-abortion groups on its website;
retained a renowned pro-abortion, pro-same-sex "marriage" nun
on its Board of Trustees; held an annual event called
‘sexapalooza’ with activities such as ‘safe sex games’, sex-tac-toe;
and has professors that put stickers on their office doors
indicating their support for abortion. There are prominent
"Catholic" entities as well as Catholic priests in the
Archdiocese of Detroit directly flouting Church teaching
without reprimand from the Archdiocese.
THE HAGUE, Netherlands - Clergy sex abuse
victims upset that no high-ranking Roman Catholic leaders have been
prosecuted for sheltering guilty priests have turned to the International
Criminal Court, seeking an investigation of the pope and top Vatican
cardinals for possible crimes against humanity. The Vatican called the
move a "ludicrous publicity stunt." The Center for Constitutional Rights, a New
York-based nonprofit legal group, requested the inquiry Tuesday on behalf
of the U.S.-based Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, arguing
that the global church has maintained a "long-standing and pervasive
system of sexual violence" despite promises to swiftly oust predators.
On Friday December
18, 2009 Fox News interviewed Pastor Bill Wilson, founder of
Operation Hope. This Organization provides Christmas gifts
to poor children.
Pastor Bill Wilson
explained on Fox News
how he was from a poor family and never
knew his dad. When he was 12yrs old, on Christmas Eve,
while walking down a street, his mother explained how she
was at the end of her rope and couldn't provide for him anymore.
She told him to wait on a bench. She never came back.
He waited on the Bench for three days without eating.
Finally a Christian man asked him if he was okay. He came
back with his wife, and they took care of him. Pastor Bill
dedicated his life to suffering children
everywhere. From the ghettos of America to the garbage dumps of
Manila, Bill has sought to rescue hurting children.
Every Christmas Eve Pastor Bill goes back to the same bench and
spends the night there by himself to Christmas morning in
meditation.

From Jenkins!
Notre Dame President Rev. John Jenkins is
still vigorously prosecuting the peaceful Pro-Life demonstrators to the fullest
extent of the law. These peaceful protestors had to pay exorbitant fines
and fly back to Indiana several times for proceedings.
Congratulations to those
students who courageously defended the Faith of the Catholic Church at
Notre Dame, in defiance of Obama receiving an honorary "lawlessness"
degree. They graduated with true honor.
