Father Vernard Poslusney is considered
by many people throughout Austria, Rome and the United States to be one of the
greatest Roman Catholic orators that ever lived. He served as a Carmelite
retreat director, conducting numerous Conferences, Days of Prayer, Homilies,
Lectures, Retreats, Seminars, Sermons, Teachings and Workshops. Some of
these were with Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen in the 1970's. His
stratospheric religious discernment and wisdom has enlightened many on the
spirituality of Saint John of the Cross, Saint Teresa of Avila and Saint Therese
of Lisieux, as well as public and private revelation. He was an advisor to the
Holy Office, as well as the author of three time-honored books: (Attaining
Spiritual Maturity for Contemplation), (Prayer, Aspiration and Contemplation)
and (Union with the Lord in Prayer). He was born in 1918, ordained in 1942, and
entered Eternal Life on December 15, 2005 at the age of 87.
